Mon, 14 Dec 2009 11:44:56 AM EDT Michael Jackson will receive the Grammy for lifetime achievement next month, along with six other artists. Over the years, he has won 13 Grammys. The event will occur on January 30, the day before the Grammy Awards are handed out in Los Angeles. Frank Sinatra, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King and Bob Dylan are the past winners of the lifetime achievement award. Others honored with the annual award are Leonard Cohen, David Edwards, Loretta Lynn, Andre Previn, Clark Terry and the late singer Bobby Darin. |
